Build:
2 - 1/4 lb. patties with Swiss & American cheeses, tomato, lettuce, pickles, onions, ketchup and mayo on a toasted bun.

Comments:

This was a surprisingly decent burger for an ice cream shop. The burger has a fast food type of texture to it, but the flavor is old-fashioned goodness. Charlie, the owner and operator for 40 years, is a nice guy who's happy to serve. The DQ $5 buck meals are a fantastic value. A junior burger, fries, drink, and sundae all for $5 – you just can't beat that, nor can McDonald's or any of the other fast food giants.

The junior burger was too small for my appetite, so I opted for the half-pound GrillBurger. Although it's a bit overpriced at $6.09, I was glad I did. I'm not sure if I liked this burger simply because I didn't expect it to be good, or if it really was "that" good, so I'll be heading back soon for another one.
Another standout for me was that the burger was served so hot I had to wait a bit before eating it. A piping hot burger? Who serves burgers piping hot these days? Lastly, and sadly, but by no means a deal-breaker, Charlie forgot the onion. Yup, one of my favorite toppings, left on Charlie's counter... damn you Charlie.
Seriously, with only a handful of DQ Braziers in the state of New Jersey that are full service food establishments, the DQ in Butler, NJ is worth a visit.
