Where: White Manna, Jersey City NJ
What: Cheeseburger
Build: I'm guessing a 3oz burger, cheese, onion, dill pickle slices.
Comment: I had these brought to me by Flik Grill Chef Dawn - Thanks Dawny! Consequently, the pics of the restaurant below are from the Internet and not my usual high-res beauty's - the burger shots are all mine. This is my first taste of burgers from the "original" White Manna in JC. I've been wanting to try them ever since my last two attempts at the WM in Hackensack in which they FAILED miserably (see my post from May 12th). With that said, I was very happy to enjoy the White Manna quality I remember from years ago. Juicy/greasy burger with raw onion and pickle on very fresh bun - although the bun was a bit too large and screwed up the burger/bun ratio, I still enjoyed the hell out of these. BTW, the buns are not potato buns like in Hackensack. The Hackensack WM could learn a lot from the JC grill master... There are no "Hack's" in JC - 9.5/10
