Here are the burger descriptions on the Boom Burger website:
The burgers were ground fresh this morning for today's serving only - and consist of 100% black Angus beef ground by "the master of meat" Pat LaFrieda Meat Purveyors™.
Burger Lovers Please Note: Our fresh ground Angus Burgers are cooked in the classic "Roadside Style" Tradition - which means it is seared on the hottest possible flattop grill, smashed thin, cooked and seared to juicy perfection! (150°F- 160°F)
If that doesn't get your jowls pumping, you'd better check your pulse.
This was a very good (albeit a bit strange) burger experience. Boom looks like a legit upbeat burger-joint-slash-sports-bar from the outside, but once the door closes behind you, the place has the look and feel of a strip joint. The colors, the multi-level seating, the polished metal railings, and (especially) the lighting all added to that tacky strip joint atmosphere. The only things that were missing were the smell of sour beer and cheap perfume, and I'm happy to say that those smells were in fact, missing. Boom is very clean and well-appointed with clean tables, clean seating, and clean menus – kudos to the manager.
For the most part I’m going to let the photos speak for themselves, because when the burgers are this good, I really hate to go on and on about them…
but for those who prefer more detailed reviews, I give you this: My burger was served blazing hot from the grill with the cheese fully melted, crisp bacon, and on a fresh roll. Need I go on? There were lots of animal grunts at the table which is a sure sign that we had chosen a really good place to have lunch. The BOOMSauce was "just okay" for me. Try it, you'll probably agree – I mean it was good, but nothing notably different than the other 100,000 homegrown burger sauces out there. The sweet potato fries were "just okay" for me too. I'd really love to see something new in the way of burger sides, like the tempura-battered green bean at another upcoming burger joint (they are as delicious as they are new and different). Just sayin'. As for The Cuban burger, I didn't try it, but my friend said it was killer.

My Famous Bacon Double Boom Burger gets a 9.4/10 on the BC rating scale. Great job Boom.
The burgers are really good here so go and eat them.
All in all, I can't wait to get back and sample another one of these perfectly prepared Pat LaFrieda nuggets of greasy goodness.
