The Horizon Diner in Manahawkin, is putting together one of the best pork roll, egg and cheese sandwiches you can find South Jersey. The sandwich comes with two eggs cooked over-easy on top of layered cheese and meat stacked on a perfectly toasted and buttered Kaiser roll. Awesome. I hit mine with a generous portion of fresh ground black pepper before closing the lid. I've been back several times and the quality has not waivered. This is the quintessential New Jersey breakfast meal and the folks at the Horizon Diner are doing it right.
