I apologize to Rich and Mindy Belfer for taking so long to write this review.
The White Rose Diner is a quintessential Jersey Diner in all aspects.
When it comes to the vintage Jersey Diner experience, the White Rose is a perfect representation of quality and class.
I can't say enough good about owner, Rich Belfer, he's the type of guy that always has a smile and something nice to say. This is my 3rd trip back to the Diner over the past few years and I knew the first time I visited that Rich is a person who absolutely loves what he does, (and he does it very well).
If you're looking for that Jersey throw-back diner experience, you'll find it here, and then some.
My burger brought me back to my childhood in the 60's, the smell, the flavor, all so darn good. And my Taylor Ham sandwich (AKA pork roll) was spot on.
There's not much to write about when you find a gem like this because everything about my experience was great. I need to get back to see what the "grits" are all about, their not something you'll get everywhere (see menu photos below).
That's it for now - get to the White Rose Diner in Linden when you can, you won't be disappointed. The hype and celebrity endorsements are real!
