Comment: *Crappy Photo Alert: By now you know on the rare occasion I find a non-burger menu item worthy of a post on this blog, it's got to be damn good. While visiting my brother in NC, I ate at this place at my sister-in-laws suggestion. She had heard a lot about this place and always wanted to try it - that's all I had to hear. It did not disappoint. I have a
few photos (some crappy - sorry) of what we ordered. Mine was the Crispy Madam which had me salivating right out of the gate. It was very good, but not great and I felt it could very easily have made the short jump to "great" with a little more TLC. In retrospect, I'd order the Monte Cristo next time, they market it heavy and have great pride in it - when a chef is proud of his food you know it won't suck. Not much to review here, the "Build" pretty much covers it, decent ham and Swiss, decent bread, not enough ham for me, but hey, I'm a meat guy. Overall I have no problem recommending this place, by all means, try it out if you are ever in the area. 9.5/10
The Crispy Madame...
The Full Monte Cristo: Grilled Black Forest ham, smoked turkey and provolone, on cinnamon swirl french toast, dusted with powdered sugar and
organic maple syrup. Served with a side item.
Breakfast Burrito.... very good, and very large, this photo doesn't do the size justice... it was huge.
Grilled jalapeƱo-cheese tortilla filled with scrambled eggs & cheddar, topped with salsa & sour cream. Served with a side item.
