Tiny restaurant, big flavors.
Very good food from a local family owned & operated BYOB restaurant. The food at Boniello's has never disappointed my family and it's always fresh and cooked to perfection whether you are eating an appetizer or an entree.  See more comments on the photos below.

My Chicken Saltimbocca was fantastic and enough for two. The chicken is sauteed in a light white wine sauce with prosciutto, spinach and mozzarella cheese and topped with grated Pecorino Romano. The seasonings are fantastic and the cheese and sauce are rich and creamy without being heavy.

My wife's side-salad was served cold and delicious.

Our appetizer of Chicken Vodka Sliders almost stole the show. These breaded chunks of tender chicken are topped with house-made vodka sauce containing ham, chicken, olives and mushrooms all generously stacked on a house-made, crispy on the outside, cotton-soft on the inside garlic knot roll. My photos do not do this appy justice, you have to taste them to believe them, they are as decadent as they are unique.

This is the Chicken ala Boniello, which is served in a pink mushroom sauce over their fresh fettuccine. My wife loved it.

The calamari was a disappointment due to it's toughness. Although tasty enough, it resisted the bite far too much for us.

This was my show-stopper. The Italian grilled cheese with 4 cheeses is NOT your average grilled cheese. It was executed perfectly from the choice of cheeses to the seasonings on the outside.

The pizza was good but not above average. With thousands of pizzerias in north Jersey, it's a tough task to produce a pie that is unique in some way.

The deep fried calzone was not only delicious, but given it's huge size, you could use one at the beach to surf with.
